Inspired to Illuminate

When we first set out to create our company, we knew that at the heart of it, we wanted to make a positive impact in our world.

Humble Heart was conceived from this notion that we could build a company that strives to make a difference through giving and the way we do business.

This desire to make a difference seemed like a lofty goal. As a soon to be startup, what impact could we really have? We remembered that there is strength in numbers, and we realized that by partnering with a non-profit organization who was already in the mission of impacting lives all over the world, we could play a small role and do our part in making a difference.

During the process of seeking non-profits that shared our heart, we were introduced to One Child Matters, and instantly we were drawn to them.

One Child Matters has impacted the lives of over 40 thousand children in 14 countries in the past 50 years. They are committed to empowering children to meet their God given potential through development programs that meet the physical and spiritual needs of these children living in poverty.

It is through our partnership with One Child Matters that we are blessed with the opportunity to help shine a light in some dark places in our world. We are committed to giving 10% of each candle sold to children in need, and currently, our donation is going to a home caring for orphans in Africa.

It is easy to become overwhelmed by the immense needs in our world, but we can’t let the size of the need influence our ability to make an impact. All it takes is each one of us stepping into our own role, and together we can have a huge impact in our world.

One Child Matters has many opportunities for us to get involved, and one very personal way to make a difference is by sponsoring a child.
